How we rank players
Social media presence
Active accounts posting highlights, game clips, updates and recruiting news give us the clearest picture of a player's season.
Public high school stats
Verified numbers from publicly available school, conference and state sources.
Rankings and results
Team and individual results, all-conference and all-state recognition, and postseason runs.
Active and healthy
No athletes with known season-ending injuries for that year.
Coach input
Coach voting runs Oct 31 – Feb 1 and feeds Player of the Year and list consideration.
Verification
Athletes confirm their profile and socials so their photo and details show on the list.
